Couples 4×4 Driving Course [R3400]
This package offering of a Off-road Driving Course for couples covers all theoretical and practical aspects of 4×4 driving. Indepth discussions on the functioning of the 4WD system of the vehicle, vehicle dimensions and characteristics, obstacle negotiations, and environmental considerations, are all followed by hands-on practical driving. Duration 5 – 6 hours.
This is a special offering to couples wanting do a 4×4 driving course together. This course is balanced with theory and practical driving, covering aspects such as vehicle dynamics (technical aspects of drive trains, diff locks, traction control systems, tyre pressures, vehicle dimensions), driving dynamics (assessment of obstacles, vehicle preparation for off-road driving, obstacle negotiations – cross-over, ascent, descent, side slope, rocks, sand, etc.), and environmental considerations.
At the end of the course the driver will fully understand the 4WD systems, capabilities and limitation of his/her vehicle, and how to apply these under different types of terrain and conditions.
A brief overview of recovery points and basic equipment required for off-road excursions is also included. Duration is approx. 5-6 hours.
- A minimum of 1 couple per session, with a maximum of 4 couples.
- Price is per couple in their own vehicle (A couple means 2 people in 1 vehicle, where the 2 persons are from 1 household, or in an existing relationship). Discount rates for group/couples bookings are available. Contact us for more detail.
